St. Vincents is one of the most stylish places I have ever been in Antwerp. I say place, because I think it’s not fair to call St. Vincents as a café! It feels more like a museum with the perfect decorative pieces around -from the concept store inside-, yet it feels like home. Nevertheless, it has a bit of everything you want from a place. In our first visit, we were only able to breathe the vibe since it was full. This time, we were prepared and went early to guarantee a table.
St. Vincents is an Instagramers wet dream. There are exclusive products and design furniture at every corner. Having said that, remember that almost everything you will see here, is for sale! The place is spacious (450m2), even a horse could run around, and I don’t know how did they do it, but it is brighter than outside with lots of green plants hanging from the ceiling.
Besides the beautiful interior, there is a lovely and friendly dog, Frida, roaming around freely. Seeing a pet always makes me smile and feel good, another reason for me to visit a place again. The atmosphere is pretty quiet and peaceful; which means you can easily work or read a book. Or just chill and feel the good vibe. No need to mention, there is wi-fi and you can find the password on the menu! I loved the background music, next time I will ask if they have a Spotify playlist. All in all, everything comes together and compose a perfect symphony at St. Vincents.
Regarding all the exclusive and luxurious products around the place, prices are a bit above the average. However, I think it is a fair trade for the atmosphere of St. Vincents. In the menu, you can find brunch, coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages, and sweet options. They serve lunch between 12h-15h and have 5 options. The prices are between 7 to 11 euros. In addition, they have vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you couldn’t catch the lunchtime, they have a cheese platter and pan con
We ordered latte, cappuccino and lemon cake. The cake was delicious, however, the highlight was the coffee. Just like everything else in this cafe/store, the coffee was exclusive. St. Vincents collaborates with The Barn in Berlin to curate their coffee menu, so I highly recommend you to experience the selection of specialty coffees.
Staff and Service
The invisible rule of St. Vincents could be: be peaceful, friendly and cool. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was roaming the place to take some photos, and, when I turned back, my order was already there. The service was quick and the presentation was eye-pleasing. Also, I noticed that the staff had small talks with regulars. That encouraged me to become a regular at St. Vincents 🙂
If it’s not convenient enough for you, they also have loyal customer system, you can create an account and collect some points to have a free coffee after some time. Important note for the pancake lovers: they only serve the pancakes on Sundays!
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday: 12 – 18½h / Sunday: 12-17h
